Tales Of Brave Ulysses.....

It's sad, but what I remember most about vacations I go on is what I saw on TV while I was there. Many vacations are highlighted by Tales From The Crypt Episodes, MST3k, Beverly Hills Cop 3, Monty Python/Holy Grail, Love Connection, etc. etc. I also realize I knew so many pathological liars growing up. I remember a kid who rode my bus in elementary school who was a few grades above me. He used to tell me about this show that came on Cable that didnt exist. The story revolved around Rambo's brother, and sometimes they teamed up. I didn't question him, because I didn't have cable. But the sad thing was, every morning he made up a different story of what happened in each episode the night before. Eventually he cracked and was an ass about it and made it seem like I was stupid for believing him. OF COURSE I BELIEVED HIM! I didn't think someone would be such a loser to make up a different storyline every morning just to fool a kid two years younger than him.

One of my friends told me about a trip to a haunted house he took, where he beat up the robotic and menchanical monsters they had there. I remember re-telling it to my siblings and being mad they didnt believe me. I even knew kids who lied about toys that didn't exist. I know at least two kids who lied about NEW Gambit (Remy Lebeau) variants that were coming out. WHY??!? What did they possibly have to gain?! I knew they were full of shit, I read the toys digests, I knew the fall line-ups, I knew the kids at school were full of shit. Why did they even try to pass it by me!? They were the same fucks who when we all wanted to play X-Men on the playground, they always wanted to be "X-Man"(Note: this was pre-AGE OF APOCALYPSE NATHAN SUMMERS, when there was no such character). Jeez, there's just some people that need to be stabbed once or twice.
