Do you ever wonder why the news only reports sightings of Jesus and the Virgin Mary on glass windows or in food? They never report when God throws in an image of Archie Bunker or Boba Fett in newly cut lumber or a Chimichanga... or even whenever there's a cloud that resembles Winston Churchill or the shape of a butt. Get the Tele-chopter out there, "Over Interstate 59 and Northwest 278 We have a Gigantic Ass. It's cheeks are getting ready to spread and....... it's Bela Lugosi!"

If I was Jesus, I'd appear randomly on TV.... like on those late night shows. Say David Letterman is talking to Salma Hayek...... cut to David "So in your new movie you're an investigator hired to hunt down the missing child of an ex-CIA operative in the jungles of Camb--..." cut to Salma, who is now Jesus Christ wearing a "Vote for Kerry" t-shirt and puts up jazz hands and proclaims "Pa dow!".. Cut back to David stunned.... Pull back and we visibly see David and Salma together. Salma looks confused.

But, I'm sure he has better things to do.... like make sure Episode 3 doesnt suck.

ok, for the record......

STAR WARS: EPISODE 3- REVENGE OF THE SITH.......could be pretty bad ass.

Here's my reasoning:

SPOILERS HEREIN.... (highlight to read)

END OF SPOILERS.....

Psyche! the opening of the movie is a 20 minutes Space BAttle sequence, and the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin at the end is around 12 minutes long.
And we get to see like 11 planets. There are wookies in the movie, and im officially pumped up about the movie. On Nov. 5th, the trailer will be attached to THE INCREDIBLES... I cant friggin wait.

For the EPISODE 1 trailer.... me and my two brothers travelled all the way past downtown to a movie theater showing the TEASER trailer before and after The Waterboy and Meet Joe Black about 2 days before it was released in regular theaters. We snuck into Meet Joe Black... saw the trailer... cheered....waited a few minutes, as we got up we noticed about more than a dozen people got up and ran out of the theater as well and went to THE WATERBOY.

We saw the trailer about 6 times that night.

I also saw THE PHANTOM MENACE 3 times opening day... Midnight, 10:40 am and 4 o'clock pm.

This
site would be a good spoilers site for Alex Ferber.... if she was a Star Wars fan that is...

I came up with an idea for the official snack treat for Ninjas..... YUMCHUCKS.

Yes, I must also post my sadness that the Astros lost this week. It was a dream that was exactly that, not reality... and it didnt seem real, I knew they werent going to win... but it was fun while it lasted. During the first St. Louis game after the Houston games, I had to go to the darkroom to develop some prints, and I noticed everyone was in the commons of Tomball College around a big screen TV watching the game. I saw my English teacher. They had just scored a run in the 9th inning, when it got tied 4 to 4. They went nuts. I would have too if I knew what was going on. But I went up to my English teacher and aske dhim what was up. The dialogue went like this.

ME: Hey PRof. Oaks, what happened?

OAKS: Oh, man. It was almost over, but then we tied it. YEah, I'm in the middle of teaching a class and was about to go back..but, pssssh, they just scored a run.

My teachers rock. And the Astros rocked, but alas.....it was a no go, but hey... we put on a damn good show. BEtter luck next year, fellas.... well, if Beltran is still with us that is.

I've said this to a few people, but I realized there are 3 or 4 things I'll always love...

1)Star Wars
2)The Ramones
3)The Astros
4) Danny DeVito

Pa Dow! Goodnight Irene.

THE LAST MOVIE I RENTED AND FULLY WATCHED WAS....

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2 (1987)-
you know, this coulda been great. IT starts out cool enough, and it leads up to something weird and different and creepy.. then....... LEatherface stops being scary. Instead he rubs his chainsaw against this girl's cooch and gets turned on. Then he "helps" her escape. It leads somehow to the family's new underground lair and after a while.... it just seems like nobody knows what to do. It's too bad, it coulda been pretty cool. And hey, if Dennis Hopper agreed to be in it, the scripot mustve been.....oh right, the drug thing....

GRADE: D-, rent it only if you like to piss off your girlfriend..... or one of your other split personalities/imaginary friends. If you;re like me, they're all one in the same.
